I'm very sad to hear of Tom's passing ( he was my uncle). Tom was a very kind, gentle and funny man. My brother, Patrick, and I have lovely memories of him visiting us when we were children and he was always a most welcome guest. He spent many years caring for his Dad without wanting any thanks which shows how kind and thoughtful he was. He brought me to see the old house he grew up in with my Dad and the rest of his family, in Ballyfermot, for which I am very grateful. Rest in peace Tom.
