Condolences to all the Ruane family on the passing of your father Thomas. As a young boy walking to the Garbally National school, Thomas regularly gave me a carry on the bar of his bike, as he was dropping Pat (Pa) to school in his first year two. I will never ever forget his kindness. I was absolutely delighted to have spoken to him at the Shehana church in May 2019, just after a period of illness he had at the time. An absolute gentleman. May he rest in peace.
