One of the good guys. Had Mr Davis for Woodwork and Drawing back in the late seventies and I always loved his classes. He really looked out for all his students, even during the exams when some of us forgot our calculators and tee-squares. Absolute legend, he won’t be forgotten. May his beautiful soul Rest in Peace.

So very sorry to see this, and on Monday afternoon; I can imagine Tom laughing at me having missed his funeral! Tom was truly one of life’s gentlemen. Without a doubt, one of the kindest people I have ever, or am ever, likely to know. I will never forget his generosity of spirit to my mother and my Aunt; a true friend and a rock. He was a very important support to us all in caring for them. He will never be forgotten. Our sympathies to you all. Well Tom, hopefully now the “man above” will sort the oul knee!

We Met him a couple of times in Salthill while home on holidays from Chicago. He was very interested in how our life was like over seas.
