Rip Thomas (tom) as local and regular customer of the supermarket over the years, who was always a pleasure and pure gentleman to serve over the years in the supermarket on fr Griffin road, also tom rip who was always so nice to talk too and give advise as vice principal in the vocational school in athenry, he always say to me as joke when would he be in the supermarket are you still smoking behind the prefab, i seen you, also when I did my leaving cert my mom rip asked him what will I do with her now ?tom rip said to her there is secretarial class up stairs in the vocational school, it will not do her any harm, which i did for 6months, heartfelt sympathy and condolences to his lovely wife Joan and family, extended family, relations and the Coogan families, friends and neighbours you are all in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time
