It was lovely to be present at the mass for Tom in Whitehall Church and listen to Clare's appreciation of his life and to hear the irish readings and music and Ciaran playing the violen
and also to meet family members.

Very sad to hear of Toms passing and sincere sympathy to his family. He was a great friend to all in the Gardiner Street Church Choir. I was a late- in- life member of the choir but Tom I understand had joined up at fifteen years of age.Talk about service and loyalty. May the Lord give him eternal rest and happiness.

Very sincere sympathy to Clare, Ciaran & all the Donegan family at this very sad time, with the passing of your dear father, Tom. My late wife, Maura and I came to know him & your late mom, Betty, meeting on our walks in Santry Demesne Park. We also met on the shopping trips in Omni, and, of course it was Clare in more recent times who accompanied him. Ciaran also attended Maura, in the latter stage of her illness at the "Day Hospital" in St Joseph's. Your Dad was such a lovely, pleasant, knowledgable man & we always enjoyed our chats. I had fully intended to be present at the funeral mass but due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to attend and I am so sorry for that.
May Tom's soul Rest In Peace.

Sincere sympathy to Ciaran and all the family on your father Tom’s passing from the O’Connor family ( formerly 83 Lorcan Drive).He was always such a lovely gentleman to talk to and was so nice when I used drop the family offering envelopes down to the house all those years ago.The funeral mass today was simply beautiful and it was a pleasure to distribute Holy Communion to his many friends and family members.I hope you will be comforted by many happy memories of your dear father.May he rest in peace.

Sincere condolences to the extended Donegan families on the sad passing of Tom whom I fondly remember from our years growing up in the shadows of Gardiner Street Church. Our times spent in the Altar Boys section with himself and Des, and our fellow servers The Dempseys. Then we linked up in the Church Choir, me in the Boys Sopranos and subsequently the Mens with Tom ln the Men’s section with great men like Alo Doherty, Peter Mc Brien, Louis Moore Luke Kennedy and Mr. O Toole under the baton of Fr. Mark Quigley SJ with Joseph O Brien on the organ. Great memories but equally so meeting Tom in and around Whitehall church or Beaumont area over the years. A true Gentleman May He Rest in Peace.

When I was migrated to the Department of Communications in 1984 and joined the Road Haulage Division Tom was head of the Division. A genteel and quietly spoken man he was the essence of integrity and kindness to all of us staff. I wish to convey my condolences to his family and friends.
