I have just learned of Tom’s passing through the Blackrock College Union website and regret I could not have offered my deepest sympathy earlier. I will retain good memories of Tom’s friendly personality and good humour from our time with First National Building Society and many Rock Union dinners over the years. RIP

I met Tom in 1970 when I first came to Kells & I was a member of the Chamber of Commerce with him in the late 70's & 80's where we tried, with others, our best to put Kells on the economic map. Tom was a great leader, entrepreneur & above all great company to be with & I had great times with him. They dont make them like him anymore unfortunately.
