Thomas (Tom) Grealish

It was with deep sadness that I heard of Tom's passing today. I played with Tom in the 1960s with St. Columba's and the Dublin 65 minor team. Tom was a gifted half-forward. An exceptional talent and highly skilled stick man. More importantly, he was a wonderful human being. He was a great friend to me during those happy days and I will always be grateful for his friendship and the kindness of both Tom and his family during those special days. Sincere and Deepest condolences to Elaine and family, on the loss of your wonderful husband Thomas. I shared many great moments both on and off the field with Thomas. He was always a very nice guy, very thoughtful and a good friend during our playing days together. He most likely is teaching the big man above how to play Hurling, Thomas being a class act with a stick in his hand. The 65 team will miss him at our gatherings.

extended family on the passing of Tom. He was one of those Clubmen who you listened and looked up to. Gave so much to the teams i was part of. We always wanted to get a lift in his car to matches because he was the first person i know to have a mobile phone in his car and he would let us make a call, and the odd time you might have to share the car with the Dulux dog ...
