Tom Kavanagh, my beloved uncle, son to Annie, and cherished brother to my mom Lily.

Tom was always part of my life and so was the sudden rise in volume whenever he visited!

A man of real character, bursting with life and humor, and never shy about saying exactly what was on his mind…

A true betting man at heart, Tom loved the horses and while winning was sweet, sharing those wins with family and friends was even sweeter.

A country man through and through, Tom loved to talk, reminisce, and relive the good times. Readypenny always a favorite topic whenever we met. With a drink in hand and a room full of laughter, Tom thrived, and when it came to banter, he could hold his own with facts, opinions, and a quick wit that kept everyone on their toes.

For me there was so much to enjoy in Tom’s company and now, so much more to miss. But the memories are treasures I’ll hold close to my heart.

Farewell, Uncle Tom, I have no doubt there’s a party in heaven today, with a never bashful Kavanagh right in the middle.
