Deepest sympathy Ethna and your extended family on the sad passing of your brother Tom.
Unfortunately we were unable to attend Tom’s funeral Mass today but we watched the Mass live.
It was a beautiful service, so personal. The choir which Tom loved so much gave him a lovely send off. Orlagh’s singing of
“Remember me” was beautiful.
The eulogy was lovely, Tom would have been so proud of his three sisters.
May Tom rest in everlasting peace.

Siobhan, Fiona, Ethna & Families. It's with a very heavy heart I send you all my deepest condolences on the death of your lovely brother Tom.
I am a member of the Knocklyon Choir & Tom has been hugely missed since he first became ill.
Tom was such an essential foundation & major member of our choir, his voice was magnificent gift to our choir. He quietly tutored & assisted our other male voices, ensuring they gave their best efforts always. Without Tom controlling the overhead projector the congregation are lost, he was so dedicated to it. Tom had a beautiful spirit & gentle personality.
He spoke so proudly of his family & loved to chat about his beloved Mom Joan, who worked in NB with my late brother-in-law Eric Connell. Tom was shy but we always had great craic at our choir parties & Tom would always do a party piece. I did have the great pleasure of dueting with Tom on a couple of occasions twas bliss!
Very regretfully I am unable to attend Tom funeral tomorrow, but I will watch from abroad & I'm certain 11 O'Clock Choir with give Tom the best send off that he well deserves.

So sorry to hear of Tom’s passing and my condolences to his family and friends. I worked with Tom in Northern Bank, Grafton street in the late 60’s and he was always in good humour and a great colleague. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Dear Ethna, Siobhan and Fiona, Sincere sympathy to you all on the death of Tom. He was indeed a true gentleman. We often met him out walking in Knocklyon and really enjoyed our chats, especially about family and old times! We loved to hear him singing solo at mass. He had such a lovely voice. Tom may your gentle soul rest in peace with your Mam and Dad.
