As we said farewell to our great friend Tom this morning many tributes were paid to him as we chatted outside the church and everyone with there own special memories of his life in the club,, he carried the torch in very difficult times ,and true to his words the club became stronger. Thanks for everything you gave to St Mochtas you gave it everything. To Maggie Stephen Mairead and Kate our sincere sympathy

A sad farewell to a dear old friend. What wonderful, and some not so wonderful times we shared at St. Mochta’s Football Club, the thrills and disappointments, the ups and downs, the friendships made, too many to mention but never forgotten. As with so many members, past and present, St. Mochta’s F. C., will be forever in your debt. And what a legacy forged and shared - a wonderful Club finally and so completely come of age.
