We were so saddened to hear of the sudden passing of our beloved Tom.
Always a gentleman with a fond hello, a story and a hearty laugh.
Tom always sat in the same seat at Mass in Knocktemple and we always sat directly behind him. There would be whispers of sport, world affairs and weather...but always a very sincere prayer and respect.
We see that part empty seat now where you brought familiarity and friendship....you are greatly missed.

Sincere condolences to Kathleen and Gerry. I have incredible fond memories of Tom when we grew up in Shepherd’s Bush. We were both fanatical about any sport (which he kept for all those years) and played endless competitions in the Queen Adelaide pub. He was a true friend and I missed him when he went to live in Ireland. We kept in touch every Christmas sending updates of each other. Rest in peace.

My condolences to all of Tom's family and friends on his sudden passing. Being Tom's postman for more than 25 years I couldn't have known a better gentleman. I looked forward to out chats and his outlook on life. World affairs, sports and the weather our usual topics. He will be greatly missed..a piece of my day lost.

All in Tirlan Virginia were very saddened to hear of the passing of our long serving colleague Tom.He was a true gentleman and a pleasure to work with, always bringing professionalism, kindness and good humour to the workplace. Many of us also had the pleasure of meeting him socially, where his warm and friendly nature was just as evident. He will be greatly missed by everyone on the site. Sincere sympathy to Kathleen and family on the death of Tom I have many fond memories of Tom from VMP/Glanbia and will always remember the kindness he showed his mother many years ago when she was in hospital and in the same ward as my own mother Tom was a gentle giant.
