Sorry to hear of the passing of Tom , a next-door neighbour I got to know well since I settled in Carriglong , great memories of our journeys to the ploughing up the midlands and the hurling especially in Semple stadium.
The discussion coming home often became heated and I'd quieten down before a serious row developed and I'd get put out on the road to walk home especially when Limerick were after winning ( again ! ).
Tom may the sod of your beloved Tramore rest lightly on your gentle soul. R.I.P.
