So shocked and saddened to hear of Toms passing . Sincere condolence to his wife and family .We met Tom through Brigids gaa club and he was one of the nicest people ,so friendly helpful good natured great craic and a lovely singer .He will b a big loss ,rest in peace Tom and thanks for the happy memories .

It was with great sadness that we learned of Tom's passing and we wish to extend our deepest sympathy to Bríd, John, Marie and the extended family. We met Tom through the Donegal Supporter's club in Dublin, he was the heart and soul of any gathering and always a willing helper.

Thomas was a true Donegal man..a proud Gael a class footballer playing for his home Club Aodh Ruadh: also for the great St. Joseph's team: for County Donegal and an Ulster Finalist along with his accomplishments with the Air Corps with many Medals/Cups in his day. Thomas a great storyteller and would sing 'till his heart content. My last time hearing singing was The Homes of Donegal and Come back Paddy Reilly, even some time back, with supporters at his back the rafters at Owen Roe's were "singing too". You will be sadly missed Thomas. May your kind and gentle soul Rest in Peace now , singing with the Angels............Owen Roe.

There was only one Thomas Quinn. My cherished memories look back on a fabulous footballer with a fighters heart. This man was at home in any company. He could entertain a stadium with his quick wit and fabulous voice or mix it with toughest defenders Ulster had. And when hell would break and the melee began Thomas was always the first to be counted and the bravest of the van.And he was loved by those he fought with because most of the time a problem was solved with his quick wit and good humour. He helped Donegal break the mould of losers and begin the path of champions. And at this moment in time I know hes passed through the pearly gates because he'd have sung the Old Bog Road for St Peter. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dilis cróga cáirdiúil. I was very sorry to hear of Tom's death. I valued his expertise and ability in the measurement and control area and his support over many years. He sang at my retirement party and many other gatherings. A true gentleman. RIP.

One of life’s true gentlemen .

I am so so sorry to hear about Tom's passing. During my years in Dublin I met Tom through the Donegal Supporters Club, an absolute gentleman who gave his all to anything he was involved in and when he sang the crowd always fell silent.
