So sorry to read of tommys passing . I have great memories of working with tommy in bishopstown , always had interesting chats on the factory floor and later in tesco douglas . He was a true gent with a friendly manner in every way. Sincere condolences to tommys family. Rest in eternal peace my friend.

So saddened to hear of Tommy’s passing.
We will miss chatting to him whenever we bumped into him around the village.
Tommy had a very interesting life and he regaled us with many stories about his early days at sea, working in the Steel and Liebert, his fishing and rambling expeditions, and of course his beloved Douglas Village.
He always had a positive outlook even though he was dealt a few heartbreaking blows over the last few years, especially when he lost his beautiful daughter Sinead.
May they be reunited now in everlasting peace.

Another great Douglas stalwart has sadly departed. Tommy was such a lovely neighbour, he was always a gentleman, respectful and had a kind word for everyone. He will be sadly missed by the three O’Connor generations the staff and his many friends of the South County.
