Dear Deborah, Marilyn, Donna, Thomas, Chandra, Chandie, Megan, and Elizabeth, sincere sympathies on the sad passing of your beloved Tom, without doubt a father and a grandfather in a million. Heartfelt sympathies to Tom’s extended family, to his neighbours and to his many friends and colleagues from all the voluntary groups that he gave his talents to. Tom had boundless energy, get-go and made time for everyone.
Tom was a remarkable person and l feel honoured to have known him well. Down through the years Tom was invaluable to SVP in Navan whenever we had fundraisers, Church Gate collections etc. l have fond memories of many Summer trips to the SVP Holiday Home in Mornington with the “2 Tom’s” and Michael in the car, practicing their repertoire for entertaining the elderly at the night ahead! Tom was equally generous with his time to Meals on Wheels, Active Retirement, St Mary’s choir among many other groups. Everyone mentions SMMS and Navan Theatre Group but we have to! Tom was a wonderful actor and singer. He made characters his own on stage! He was a joy to watch!
Tom was a man of deep faith. We all miss him from his familiar seat in St Mary’s these past few years. The Requim Mass for Tom was a fitting tribute to a person who had a deep devotion to Mass and to the Eucharist and lived out that Eucharist in his everyday life.

Please accept our sincere condolences on the sad news of Toms death. We all became friends over 50 years ago when as members of SMMS. Tom was a member until his illness took over. Many’s the laugh we had and achieved a lot over the years presenting musical shows . Thanks to Tom who acted as stage manager and with friends put many the set together to give background to the shows. He was blessed with a loving family and of course dear Marie RIP a loving wife.

Condolences to TOM'S WIFE AND FAMILY, FROM KELLS SILVER BAND. Tom was a much valued bass player with Kells Silver Band for many years and never missed either practice or performance. Play on Tom, one of the best.
