I was saddened to hear of Tommy's passing. Tommy was a true and respectful gentleman who was liked by everyone who knew him. I had the pleasure of knowing him when he and I worked in St. James's Hospital and we chatted often when he was in the laboratory. He was always thinking of his family and their welfare. Even after his retirement he continued to visit regularly and continued collecting for various draws he was involved in. He will indeed be missed as a lovely person, friend and colleague by all in St. James's. I would like to extend my deepest condolences to Ashley, my former colleague in St. James's hospital laboratory, and all his children, grandchildren, and extended family and friends.
