Sincere condolences to Eileen, P.J. and the extended Hogan family on the passing of their beloved Tommy. Back in the late fifties and early sixties I remember Tommy ,P.J. and their sister Carmel whenever they came to Tulla. I left Tulla in 1963 and the next time I met Tommy was in Dublin on the morning of the 1968 Hurling Final. He had flown from New York to Shannon and on to Dublin. I was to meet Tommy many times in the intervening years and it was always a pleasure to meet and chat. Tommy was an amazing Gentleman who in his lifetime had crisscrossed the Atlantic more often than anyone I knew. He has returned for the last time for his final rest on the Windswept Hill. May the light of Heaven shine brightly on his Gentle Soul . R.I.P.,.

very sad to hear of TOMMY.s passing ,our sympathy is with his wife Eileen brother PJ and his relatives , Tommy was a very likeable man though based in NEW YORK for many years he never lost the connection to his homeplace and was a regular commuter to TULLA , sadly i didnt meet him that often in recent years , but for the times i did get to bump into him , he was always engaging , it would always be a case of parting company from him in better form , he always provided a big welcome and reception to the people from his parish who went to NY , he will be missed by many , may he rest in peace ,,, BERNADETTE & JOHN HUNT
