Thomas (Tommy) Kernan

Sincere sympathy to all the Kernan family on the sad death of Tom with whom I had as a colleague in the Hibernian. Always a gentleman. May Tom rest in peace. Sean Hanahoe.

My sincere condolences to Vera and all the Kernan family at the sad news of Tom’s passing. He was so kind to me when I was his Meals on Wheels assistant from 2012 till he resigned. Tom was witty and had such a wealth of knowledge on many subjects but especially about Clontarf. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Tom. He was such a gentle soul and so easy to work with. I got to know him in our Marine days in Hibernian Insurance. So helpful and cheerful always. He was a true gentleman. Condolences to Vera and family. May he rest in peace.

So sorry not to be able to be there in person yesterday to acknowledge a lovely neighbour and a fine man. Sincere sympathy to Vera, Maurice, Margaret, Colm, Niamh and famiIies. I thought Margaret hit the right note perfectly. He lived a life of good values devoted to family, community and faith and had fun along the way. Well done good and faithful servant -gone to your eternal reward.

Very sad to hear of the death of our dear friend and work colleague Tommy. Deepest sympathy to Vera and all the family.

We were saddened to hear the news of Uncle Tommy's passing. He will live forever in our memory as a most kind, gentlemanly soul who was devoted above all to his family. He is at peace now, and, while we mourn his loss, we also celebrate his life well-lived.

It is with a heavy heart that we hear of the death of the last of our Kernan uncles from 55 Leinster Street and the youngest uncle too. Tommy is 10 years older than me and like a big brother, when I was growing up, allowing me to play with his exotic toys. Our condolences to Vera and all her family, who have lost a husband, a father, a grandfather and a great grandfather. May Uncle Tommy rest in peace.
