Hello Tommy my lovely and dear sincere friend .
I Remember so vividly when we first met in Rugby, England at Territorial Army drill hall, we both became Driver/ radio operators in the TA, I guess that’s why we ended up both having an interest in Short wave Radios for the rest of lives. After meeting in the TA we came good family friends and often Myself and wife Edna would visit you and Chrissie in Kings St and of course too your lovely daughters Carol ,Bernadette ,and Shirley. I still have photos of you and Chrissie when you came our wedding at St. Marie’s and afterwards to our reception.
Until we meet again in Heaven my dear friend Tommy keep my seat warm next to you.
The Lord have Mercy on Tommy. May he rest in peace. Tommy worked with my late Father about 55 yrs ago distributing fruit and vegetables. I was around 4 1/2 years of age and its amazing that i can remember those good times so clearly, Tommy was the most obliging, trust worthy person one would be lucky to meet. My late Father had huge time and respect for Tommy. Another thing i remember, Tommy was so proud of his wife and girls. Tommy may have left you for now but rest assured he will be always watching over you and your family for eternity, .Gerard Ward ( son of Frank)
