Sincere condolences to the Nolan family.

I always looked forward to bumping into Tommy in the courtyard of Pier 19 for a chat.
We are very sorry to hear of Tommy's passing. Tommy was our upstairs neighbor at Pier 19 and we both thought very fondly of Tommy. He was a real gentleman and will be sadly missed. Rest in peace Tommy.
Awful news to hear of Tom's passing -a cheerful & amiable person, will be greatly missed
I'm only after hearing of the sad passing of Tommy. What a gentleman we all loved him so much. He was a legend in our eyes and will always be. Condolences to his Wife and family and friends 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Sincere condolences to Tommy's family and extended family.
Rest in Peace Tommy.
So saddened to hear of Tommy's passing and about missing his funeral.

What a lovely man with a great sense of humour. A union man with an unwavering sense of socal solidarity.

Des McGuinness and Noreen Byrne.
I was saddened and shocked to learn that Tommy had passed away. He was a really nice man who was part of the SIPTU Retired Members Section. Tommy was a member of the social events subcommittee and was very active on behalf of the retired members of the union.
Rest in peace, Tommy.
Mick Coakley.
We were very sorry to hear of Tommy's passing. Always a pleasure to work with or socialize with. May he rest in peace.
Sending our sincere condolences to Tommy’s family and his many friends. Through his pal Clare, he was a dear friend to our family, particularly Grandpa Seamus. We had some wonderful nights in his company with Tommy bringing the music. He had the best stories - always told with a glint in his eye. We loved hearing about his time in the Abbey and RTE - his immense curiosity was always apparent. He always spoke lovingly of his children and grandchildren too. Codladh sámh xxx
Deepest condolences to Tommy's family. Have known him for 30 years through the Beatles Ireland fan club. What an absolute gent. I hope you and John Lennon are still not fighting over using the toilet up there lol. Rest in peace Tommy.
We are very sorry Pat, Gary, Keith and extended Nolan family to hear of the death of Tommy. Tommy was lovely, a true gentleman and will be very fondly remembered here in Henrietta Adult and Community Education in the Daughters of Charity Community Services ( DoCCS). He generously took part in a range of classes and was known and loved by many as a result. He was persuaded last year to play his harmonica while another learner sang as part of our drama night..a great memory here. May Tommy rest in peace.
I'm really sorry to hear about Tommy's passing. He was so much craic and just the best fun to work with. It's so sad to think we won't be bumping into him on the corner of Abbey Street and getting the latest gossip from him anymore. Deepest sympathies to all of Tommy's family and friends.
My sincerest and deepest sympathy to all the Nolan family on the recent passing of Tommy. He was such a great guy! He will be remembered
always for his funny quips, his quick wit, his intelligence but also his kindness, support and decency. He was a work colleague, a great friend and a gentleman! Tommy touched many lives in a positive, affirming way. He was always there for his friends and his family meant everything to him. It was such a privilege to have known him. Rest In Peace Tommy. You brought so much love and joy to the world, and you will never be forgotten!
It was a piece of luck for me when Tommy came to work in the production office of the Abbey Theatre. From the day he arrived at that desk, it became apparent that we would get on professionally. We soon became pals and remained so ever after. He and Tony Wakefield were a pleasure to have as my immediate bosses. They were the perfect double act. They made work feel less so. Tommy bestowed me with a pet name with a wonderfully Dublin flavour - Vanzer. There was nothing for it but to reciprocate by calling him Tozzer. He taught me a lot. Once, he attempted to teach me to play the bodhrán. His attempts were valiant, but, ultimately, fruitless. He was a self-taught master of many things and, not least, excelled in the art of people management. When deadlines loomed and tempers were on the verge of exploding, I marvelled at the skill with which he could dismantle a human bomb; patience and good humour were his tools. Unlike a certain Beatle, I never witnessed him lose his temper. And the sole time I witnessed the spark of humour leave his eyes, was when the light that was his son, David, went out.
I will miss my pal, Tozzer. My heartfelt condolences to Pat and the family and to Gary and Keith, who were and are a credit to their father.
Sending my Sincere condolences Pat, Gary, Keith & to all your your lovely family. I've fond memories of Tommy as a kid when he went up to visit Granny & Grandad Hegarty up in Cromwellsfort & him getting me my work experience in RTE for transition year way back in the day. Such a lovely man & he will be very much missed by everyone. Rest in Peace Tommy.
