Yesterdays funeral highlighted that the GAA is so much more than 70 minutes of lads chasing a ball around the pitch. Normally at a funeral you would see lads in the twice a year perhaps poorly fitted suit, yesterday showed an array of Roscommon ensembles, ex county players attending, county board officials attending, his coffin draped in the county flag as it made its way to Palmerstown where it was met with Roscommon flags at the gates.
