Thomas (Tommy) RYAN

Thers a hole now at the wall where Tommy used to sit by the Forty Foot, a leader to us regulars, watching over us as we swam in all conditions, always an acknowledgement 'Did you swim round it' or 'Its not a job'.
He will be more than missed, in fact it's end of an era. Sail on Tommy.

So sad at Tommys passing. He was there in the 40ft when my dad passed away suddenly and always spoke kindly and fondly of their friendship, which meant a lot to me. Tommy was witty and kind in equal measure and always a kind word for everyone. He always said “only the good die young Eugene” well he was wrong as Tommy was undoubtedly a good one, although I think he’d have liked to have made 90 😀. He’s probably upstaging the pope now. Tommy never said no to cakes sweets or treats and never afraid to say what he thought 😅
He was so so lucky to have a wonderful family especially Paddy who had the patience of a saint!!!!

They would just to and Tommy would revive the treats 🎂🍬🧁🍫🍪 from passers by, especially Sylvia definitely was his number one fan and feeder 🍬💖
We all miss you thank you for looking after Ringo🐾 minding or phones 📱 and looking after our gear hopefully Tommy will be looking down on us and keeping us safe🏊‍♀️🏊🏊‍♂️as he always said the sea will be their tomorrow stay safe
