Dearest Uncle Tommy, it is so sad to write this,being your 90th birthday 13th January & a month since you left us all, you didn’t make Christmas. We never thought of living without you. We enjoyed your wonderful ways, the character that you were, always so proud of you & the fame that surrounded you. A legendary horseman with your beautiful horses, almost as human to you as the man on the street, a talented cattle dealer, and epic ballroom dancer. You were gregarious & great fun but also kind, soft hearted & interested in people.
Our Mother Mary cherished & adored you, she your only sister & you her only brother a bond that was never broken. She loved you so much, always asking people with pride in her voice ‘Do you know my brother Tommy Walker?’
We have fondest memories of fun, parties, & the many gatherings that you were a big part of.
When you called you were treated with a special reverence, we thought the world of you. Your unique presence & tone showed in your great stories and conversations.
You called to Grange whenever you wished, we were always happy to see you.
You were our only Dear Uncle for a long time.
We will never forget you; we will always remember you with love and affection.
May you Rest in Peace with all who have gone before you.
May the angels blow their golden trumpets and take you to heaven on their wings.
