Thomas (Tomo) Ashmore

We have only just learned of Tommy's passing and wish to offer our sincere sympathy to Tommy's family and friends at this sad time. Tommy installed our AGA back in 1984 and was always available to service it and assist with any related problems. He will be sorely missed.

so sorry to hear of Tommy's passing. He was such a gent and such craic. His visits to Rathmore to fix our Aga are part of my growing up as we loved his jokes not to mention his expertise. We always had to make sure we had a plentiful supply of tea as well! My Mum was his No 1 fan and no doubt they are catching up up above. Only last year we bought our first Aga and Tommy was invaluable in his advice to us, Sincere sympathise to all his family and may he rest in peace.

Tommy was always a welcome visitor to our house. We looked forward to his visits. He had a terrific sense of humour and his jokes were memorable.
As some of the other tributes mention, he took a great interest in the families of all to whom he provided his unique expertise. He was always concerned about other people’s well being and how they were getting on. We will miss him. May he rest in peace.

So very sad to hear of Tommy's death. He will be hugely missed for his kindness and fun and encyclopedic knowledge of the Aga, We always enjoyed his visits and had so many laughs with him . It's hard to believe we won't see him again . He knew our family from generation to generation,. Our deepest sympathy to all his family on their sad loss .May he rest in peace with Marie,.

He was an absolute character, always in great humour, with an endless supply of funny stories!!
