Tommy where do i begin from the first time i worked with you in the meath back in the 80s to your last day in tallaght when i walked with you out the door last year after over 50 years service we where friends for nearly 40 years and never a bad word between us from our football trips to see arsenal play .and then our weekends away all over europe with eddie and richie having the crack and not a care in the world.we had the best of times and that was down to you with your jokes and songs never a dull moment in your company we started as work colleagues and became friends for life.

To say I'm heartbroken is an understatement.

For 26 years I've worked with this absolute legend of a man..
From my very first day when I stepped foot in Tallaght Hospital The Tuck took me under his wing,
showing me the ropes with top standard...there was never an issue with this mans work!

From our 'here do you remember this song' battles or quoting movies quotes to beat the band to coming up with lunch combo's...hands down the best one was the chicken pot noodle with barbecue hoola hoops chucked on top
The jokes were off the charts and the laughs even more
I will miss you something fierce Tuck....rest well freind

I’m so sorry to hear of the very sad news that Tommy has passed away. My father Shay McLoughlin and Tommy were great pals. They worked together in the Meath Hospital and then in Tallaght hospital. Outside of work they shared a love for fishing. When Dad died last year, Tommy was very kind to our family. I know Tommy was an avid Arsenal fan and Shay followed Liverpool FC and they had great banter slagging each others team. Rest in Peace Tommy and you will never walk alone ❤️
