I want to extend my sympathies to Ro, Gillian, Lydia and family on the passing of Tim. It was a pleasure and a privilege to have served on the management committee of Drumcondra EC with Tim, for many years. He was always like a breath of fresh air with his wisdom and good humour. He spoke so fondly of his family and it was lovely to view his funeral service and how treasured he was by all of you. May he rest in peace.

Having worked with him during my roles as Director of Waterford Education Support Centre and Chairperson of ESCI, I benefitted greatly from his considerable experience, expertise and understanding of all aspects of the Education Centre network. I was privileged not only to have been taught by him in St. Vincent's but also, in later years, to have served with him on the Board of Management of the school. I was very sorry to hear of the loss of Tim. He was so generous with his time, knowledge and experience, both to the Migrant Teacher Project, where I first met him as a volunteer, and then to the Stepaside ETSS board of management. He will be sorely missed, but leaves a lasting legacy with the teachers, schools and programmes he has supported over the years. I was very saddened to read of Tim's death. I shared some time in Maynooth with Tim and always found him to be great company and even though many years have passed since we last met, he still had an abiding effect. As I write this, I am saddened even more that I am unable to join Tim's final farewell online. God grant you eternal rest, Tim, and may your family take strength from knowing that your life was one of much goodness.

I remember the meetings, the joint work and thinking, the joint action within the framework of ENIRDELM.
