Such sad,bad news. We were shocked and saddened to hear of Tim’s untimely passing. Our heartfelt sympathy to you Linda, Nicola,Olan,Isabel, Sadhbh and all who mourn Tim. Tim, you were such a fun and charismatic person to be around. I have so many wonderful memories of you, Linda, Nicola and I. From sailing in Kinsale to eating Chinese takeaway around the kitchen table listening to R.E.M., I feel very privileged. You and Linda were the cool parents all the kids wanted. I’m so lucky I got to share all those moments with you both, along with Nicola.

many years ago when we played soccer against each other.always enjoyed meeting him however briefly in the years since.Tim had a sunny
disposition a lovely sense of humour and a ready smile...condolences to

Had some lovely sessions with Tim in the Longboats. Will remember him with by the tune Redicans Mother. It was Tim who told me the name of it after playing it. The tune stuck with me since.

My deepest sympathies to the McCARTHY family. I met Tim briefly earlier this year when he attended a jewellery class I was teaching at St John’s College. I found him to be a very warm and interesting person. He was very good at it too and the fact that I connected so well with him on a short 20 hour course is testament to the type of man he was. May he rest in peace.
