I was saddened to hear of, Tims, passing. He was a lovely man, a true, gentleman. I knew him, nearly, 40 years, from when he was, Managing Director, in Gateaux. He gave me , my first break in management, and was a great M. D. May he rest in peace.

Tim you will be sadly missed by the Cadwell Family. You where such a great friend to my Mam and Dad (Mollie and Declan). You where a "True Gent". R.I.P.
Tim was truly a once off type of guy . always ready to help anytime you'd say how are things Tim his reply would be super thanks . iv know. Tim for about 11 years we went on holiday together and he was so much fun . always the first to help or give such wise advice. True his illness I never once heard him complain and he had a right to but he never did he did what he always has done got on with it . My heart is broke to know he won't be at the end of the phone but I take great comfort in known MND is a horrible illness and know he's out of suffering and can look down on us all gives me some sort of happiness.

A Belvederean to the core and a great lords Taverner. How are things Tim? - Super was always the reply! We will miss Tim. A true gent.
Tim was one of life's true gentlemen . An honorable, trustworthy and loving man with a great sense of humor I have so many happy memories of Tim in the Purdy family home throughout the years. He was such a strong guiding light for all of us and a brilliant listener. His dignity during his illness illustrated the kind of man Tim was and despite the fact that he knew it was too late for him he still continued to battle so that MND sufferers might benefit in the future. Selfless to the very end. Tim will be missed by so many people. Barbara (Babs)
