I had the pleasure of some wonderful conversations with Tim in The Barge pub during his time at McConnells. Such a kind person with a distinctively warm nature. My sincere condolences to all closest to him and his extended family. May he rest in peace.
I have such lovely memories of Tim. He was kind and funny, so smart and so genuinely creative. In advertising, where you are surrounded by people talking absolute nonsense, he was a breath of fresh air and just himself. Sending love to his family, RIP Tim. <3 xxx

Natasha, I am deeply sorry for your loss and offer sincerest condolences on Tim’s passing. Please know that my thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
Tim, me auld china. We had so much fun over the years. The pints. The craic. The juvenile jokes. The madness of meeting at Bell in 87. Your first proper pint of Uncle Arthur (in a back room at the Guinness Brewery where we weren’t supposed to be, long story). Maintaining the friendship and the stories (distilled like a fine Bushmills) over all the years. The barbeque when you finally came to Sydney. Meeting Natasha. To the last few chats on that bench in the garden in Wexford in 22 and 23. The toothbrush! And talking about how to fix up the back area as we looked over the fields of barley.
Tim, it’s 2.30 am in Sydney. I’ve shed a few quiet tears. I’ll never forget your quirky, warm irreverence. I’ll have a pint for you next time I’m in O’Briens. Actually, I’ll have a few. RIP. Deepest condolences Natasha, Sean and all at Team Tim. Brian SMILEY Norton.

In those wild, angry, exciting teenage years in sunny Cheltenham, Timmy was the best of my friends. A great co-conspirator in mischief and mayhem, but more importantly, a genuine and gentle friend whose thoughtfulness and kindness was unique and unusual at that tender age. The hours he spent patiently chatting with me sitting cross legged on his bedroom floor smoking hash and listen to The Smiths and King Kurt, having snuck me when I had nowhere to sleep, and encouraging me to reflect and see things from different perspectives was pivotal for me, and did more to keep me from serious trouble or harm than anyone perhaps ever. And he was probably 16 at the time.
I deeply regret losing touch with him for so long but am so glad we reconnected these past few years.
He also taught me how to make a sandwich properly, with huge attention to detail and love, a skill and an approach to life which has served me to this day.
Love you Timmy.

I am so sad my boys will never get to have a beer with their Uncle Timmy in Ireland, that was to be part of their right of passage. We will share stories and photos so they will know the man you were.
Sending love from your nephews George, Hamish and Hugo Mudie.

No words can express how much I enjoyed Tim’s company over the years. The world is a lesser place. So sorry for his family and friends. RIP lovely man.
Tim was a giant of humanity and creativity. Condolences to all family and friends. May he rest in peace.
ICAD are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of one of our own, Tim Mudie. Before leaving the industry in 2014 to focus on his painting, Tim was an art director and creative director at DDFHB and McConnells. Those of us lucky enough to work in his company remember him as being a constant source of humour, wit and pragmatism. He will be sorely missed but his impact will leave a lasting mark.
Natasha, may we offer our deepest condolences on the passing of your Tim.

Goodbye friend.
Mischief maker, original of mind and kind of heart. You never changed, remaining true to yourself in everything you did. Always quietly resisting bureaucracy and blandness with charm and charisma. The world is a duller place without you. My thoughts go out to Natasha, Sean and all his loving family.

Tim was a special person, so playful, funny and good hearted. He taught me so much about art direction and the world of advertising. I loved our chats, pints, gigs and country walks. Truly shocked and saddened by his loss. I'll always think of him happily painting in the countryside. Love to Sean and all of his family and Natasha at this awful time. Rest in peace.

If I could have said goodbye Timmy, I would have said you were the most special friend I ever had. Our time together was so long ago as goofy teenagers / but each time we reconnected it was if nothing had changed.
I will enjoy my memories of you Timmy, my funny, talented, loyal, sometimes vulnerable friend. I’m so glad the last meeting was only a few years back. We enjoyed our time to reminisce together in your city, your pub.

Tim was loved by everyone, a man of wonderful talents and such great creative inspirations, the world has lost a passionate and caring soul. May his legacy always live on.
We send our Deepest condolences to our lovely neighbour Natasha and Times brothers and relatives on the passing of Tim, We will miss him as lovely Neighbour and Friend 🧡 may he RIP 🙏
I spent about six years in Dublin and met so many incredible folks along the way. One of them was Tim Mudie. We met at Target McConnells—he was a senior creative who just happened to sit next to me. He wasn’t just a mentor; he quickly became a friend. And honestly, he made those cold, miserable winter mornings something to actually look forward to.
Tim was part of our little creative gang at the agency. We’d brainstorm ideas, crack jokes about my terrible accent, celebrate pitch wins, and even draw ridiculous cartoons of each other. It was the kind of vibe that made work genuinely fun.
Man, Tim’s gonna be so missed. The best people, it feels like, never stick around long enough. They show up, make the world a better place, and leave way too soon. Tim was one of those people.
I wish his family and friends peace and comfort during this difficult time. My heartfelt condolences go out to all who loved him.

I worked with Tim during his time in DDFH&B. We shared some good laughs. He had a great black sense of humor. He was also a fantastically creative person who always had the concept that was the most provocative. Add to this a very decent human being. I was saddened to read of his untimely death.
Too soon, Tim, too soon.
So sorry for your loss Natasha .My thoughts are with you.
