Sincere sympathy to the Drinan family on the sad passing of Tadgie.I knew Tadgie from the days of the City Bord Na Nog,he was always very fair in his dealings with every club.He was a passionate Gaa man and will be greatly missed.May he rest in peace.
My sincere symathy to all of Tahgies relatives and friends. He truly was a legend in his own lifetime in terms of loyal, unselfish and dedicated service to the GAA. We re always told Mol an Oige agus Tiocfaidh Siad and that s a motto Tadhgie lived by and for with his tireless work for the Barrs. His task and zeal in the job of selling and coordinating the sale of match programmes was legendary. A lifetime Pioneer he used love when I brought him copies of the Pioneer Magazine. Fearless in his views he spoke his mind on all matters GAA but always for the good of the Association and nobody could stem his flow when he wanted to make a valid point. Too easily we can say Ni Bheidh a Leithid Ann Aris but that phrase should really be reserved for people like Tadhgie Drinan who gave principled and unwavering obair agus neart to the GAA. Ballyhea reared him , the Barrs were lucky to have him and we all were the better for knowing him. I am so sorry that I am away at this time and cannot be present to bid farewell to a great Irishman. Slan agus beannacht Tahg agus leaba i measc na naomh duit, ta se tuillte agat.
Sincere condolences to all of Tadgh's family, he was a true Barrs stalwart , the likes of which we might never see again. R.I.P Tadghie. From Dave Barrett and family
Sincere sympathy to the Drinan Family at this sad time. Tadhgie was a man of great integrity and honesty. His commitment to the GAA in the St Finbarrs and Bórd Na nÓg was exceptional. I remember meeting Tadhg regularly in the old Nemo at County Juvenile Board meetings and his knowledge on all things GAA was breathtaking and regularly pulled the Tipperary Star, the Clare champion or the Waterford news & Star newspapers from his pocket to emphasise a point. A true legend who contributed so much and never looked for anything in return. Rest in peace Tadghie.
Deepest sympathy to the Drinan & O'Mahony families on the sad passing of Tadghie a wonderful Barrs & G.A.A man may he rest in peace Charlie and Pauline McCarthy & family

To all of tadhgies family,
Im so sorry to hear of the passing of a true legend and gentleman.people could not but be in awe of a man who touched so many people's lives in such a positive way.he would be chatting to people out in the barrs club and as you passed he would salute you by name which showed you what an absolute gentleman he was.
Rest in peace tadhgie
Deepest condoloences on the sad passing of Tadhgie. He was a gentleman and a character and his passion and drive was unequalled.

He will be greatly missed around the Barrs.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
Comhbhron o chroi to the family of Tadhgie on your sad loss. My friendship grew from our involvement with the Barrs. We worked as underage selectors together during the 1970s. Tadhgie travelled far and wide on his scooter to gather players for our teams, he always placed great importance on the marginal player. Many of these became great club men in later life, a source of great satisfaction for Tadhgie. He was always a private man re his own life but lived his public life in the service of the Barrs, he contributed hugely to all sectors of the club. May Tadhgie now rest easy n peace
Our condolences to Tony and Eilis, all the Drinan family and to Fr Damien on your sad bereavement. May Timothy rest in peace.

Sympathies to the Drinan and O'Mahony families on the passing of Timothy. Timothy was a vice - president of Ballyhea Gaa Club. He kept a close eye on all happenings in Ballyhea especially Gaa through the Vale Star newspaper. For years he attended our Agm giving much appreciated advise. He was an annual member and a weekly contributer to our lotto. He attended the annual prayers in Cooline cemetery including last November. He would be the first to greet any Ballyhea team visiting the Barrs and many other city venue's. He loved the Gaa. He will be sadly missed. May he Rest in Peace.
My sympathy to Tadhg's family and also to his friends at the Barr's on his passing. Many the Saturday night do I recall attending fixtures meetings where Tadhg took to the floor and made a case on a particular matter - in all such instances there was always only going to be one winner, such was his knowledge of the rule book! Leaba i measc na Naomh go raibh aige.

Sincere condolences to the Drinan and O’Mahony families on Tadghie’s passing. He was a hugely positive influence on so many for generations
Sincere sympathies to the Drinan and O Mahony Families on the sad passing of Tadhg. Tadhg was a selfless stalwart of the GAA and in particular his beloved Barrs. I have fond memories, as a young fella serving on the City Bord na nÓg( predecessor to Rebel Óg)as the Nemo delegate on a Saturday night organising the following weeks fixtures. He had a computer brain and had no equal when it came to the scheduling of multiple fixtures over a weekend. He was kind to young novices like myself and my brother making sure we didn’t disadvantage our own club teams! He will be missed in the Barrs, Ballinlough and wherever games are played. May Tadhg Rest in Peace .
