We are deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of our dear friend Timmy Joe. He was a true gentleman on every sense of the word- full of warmth, good humour, and a great love of life, which he embraced to the full. He had a deep passion for farming, and took immense pride in his cattle and sheep, a way of life that suited his generous spirit so well.
He brought great joy to so many at singing sessions around North Cork where his voice and presence lit up every gathering. No more will we hear him raise the house with " Give Me An Aberdeen Angus" or "The Winning Dream" songs that he made truly his own.
Timmy Joe willy be sadly missed by his sister Eileen, and all who had the privilege of knowing him, but fondly remembered in every story, song , and shared laughter.
May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

I have often met him over the years and he always had a friendly warm smile and enjoyed a chat

To Eileen, it was with great sadness we heard the very sad news of Timmy Joe”s sudden death yesterday.
Our deepest sympathy to you, his relatives and many friends especially in Laharn where he was so well respected.
The Cross Roads dancing and community events will not be the same without him.
Such a gentleman and so sincere we all went to Laharn School and Timmy Joe was always there with a smile and in latter years I loved to listen to his songs and his pleasant nature always shone through.
He always had a welcome for me and my family back to Laharn.
May God comfort you Eileen in these very difficult days ahead and I hope you’ll draw strength from the love and support around you.
