Dear Mrs Kelleher and family it's with great sadness that we read the death of your beloved Ted .We had the company of you both when we went on hoildays to Scotland and when we came back to killarney we had to travel to Mallow first and the bus driver wanted to go to Cork and then back to Macroom but Ted wasn't having that .Thank you both for the lovely memories. Very sad to hear about Teddy’s passing. He was a great Clondrohid man, and neighbour and teacher. Clondrohid’s set-dancers are known far and wide and this is all down to Teddy, his patient teaching and kind nature (never a cross word as I recall) – there will be many a past-pupil who have shed a tear on hearing the news, including myself. Really saddened to hear that Teddy has gone 'ar slí na firinne'. If the definition of a patriot or Tírgráthóir is one who loves ones country and all that defines it, then Teddy Kelleher fitted that description perfectly. His pride and passion for what defines us as a people, our music song ,and dance was legendary. He was most helpful to all of us who drew on his expertise whether it be for competition, concert or adjudication. If he didn't get the "Well done, loyal and faithful servant" treatment on arriving at the golden gates, there is no hope for the rest of us.
