I was so sorry to hear of Tim's passing, and my sincere condolences to Siobhan, Eibhlís and all Tim's family.
We used love seeing the orange micra pull up outside our house when we were younger. And not just for the box of toffifee which was sure to be produced, but for the wit and good company that had arrived.

Timmy was always very nice to me during my time in De La Salle. I found him highly entertaining, wildly unpredictable and extremely kind hearted. R.I.P. Timmy.

So sad to hear of the passing of Timmy. He taught me in De La Salle many years ago. He was such a warm, kind and gentle man with a brilliant sense of humour. I always loved being in his company, he was a great character and so much fun.

Sincerest condolences to all on the passing of Tim. A wise man, who many enjoyed his wit and his way of teaching. He taught me a number of subjects in the De La Salle days. In those days, you might be put standing outside the door if disruptive, but Tim didn't like to start with that. You got a reprise to “sit on the grass” or “sit on the sand” (DLS floor tile colours!). Speaks to his wise and fair nature!

I also have fond memories of travelling with Tim to Bordeaux on student exchanges and what a laugh and experience we had. He was fair, yet ensured we understood we were travelling and had to stay in line. That was the plan anyway! When we built the wall, he was complimentary of our planning! Even on my many returns to DLS after leaving, I enjoyed having a tea with him as he asked about college or work.

Mr. O Brien taught me in De La Salle. Mr. O Brien had a wicked sense of humour. He certainly lived an eventful life. I still suspect Mr. O Brien had life all figured out but he never shared his secrets! May Mr. O Brien rest in peace.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Tim. He was a wonderful colleague and friend — kind, witty, and full of life. His warmth and sense of humour brightened every room, and he had that rare gift of making everyone feel valued and at ease.

I’ll always remember the many moments we shared, especially those school trips to Delphi and Bordeaux — full of laughter, stories, and his unflagging enthusiasm for discovery and good company. He truly lived life to the fullest, and those of us who had the privilege of knowing him will cherish his memory always.

Willie loved the holiday and when your dad would bring him back, he would set off again after his cup of tea, telling us his car always knew the way back home to Inchigeela.
