I was so sad to hear that Tim had left us. I first met him in the early '70s, when I joined the same branch of the ASTI. Tim was such a loyal and supportive trade unionist, who always encouraged young teachers and fought to improve their pay and conditions. He was an inspiration to us all and I have such fond memories of Tim's wicked sense of humour at the many ASTI Conventions we attended over the years. My deepest sympathy to Mary and all Tim's family. It was an honour to have known him.

Mary and all your Family, we are so saddened to hear of Tim's passing, I got to know Tim through looking after the flowers beds in Ardilaun, he always turned up with his shovel and wheel barrow for the clean ups. He was a character always smiling, kept us all on our toes on the Ardilaun committee. He was a good neighbour and friend and loved by all, so happy to have known him.
