A exceptional teacher, both in and out of school. I have such fond memories of Master Woulfe, headmaster , 6th Class teacher, polka and figure dancing teacher, and so many Scor nights and competitions across Limerick and Munster.

Sincere symlathies to the Woulfe family on the death of Tim. We trained together in Drumcondra as Limerick student teachers from 1952-1954 where Tim's reputation as a scholar, gentleman and sportsman won for him the admiration of his peers. Although Life attracted us to different aspects of education, Tim's committment to teaching, to local development, to the GAA, to set dancing, to music and to compilation of Irish words in local vernacular use in English demonstrate a range of cultural interests he promoted in order to enrich the lives of younger generations of the Limerick community. My deepest Condolences to all the Woulfe family. I knew Timmy when I played football with Mungret and Limerick. He was a great advocate for ladies football in Limerick. He was an absolute gentleman and it was always a pleasure to bump into him on occasion. I was very sad to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace 🙏

My dearest sympathies to Timmy's family. He was the embodiment of what makes a wonderful teacher - full of patience, a passion for his subject, took a delight in sharing his vast knowledge and watching his pupils develop and improve, so encouraging and above all the sprinkle of divilment that made his classes so enjoyable.
He taught, or tried his level best to teach me, set dancing as an adult. I've wonderful memories of him and the gang from Clounmacon.

Thank you Master Woulfe. We took it for granted that everyone was able to dance a set, and all the parts to it. It wasn't until we left Athea that we realised not everyone had learned this. There was a slow dawning of all the school lunch breaks you gave up to teach generations of us how to dance, making sure the tradition was passed on. My condolences to all the Woulfe family.

Timmy was always in very good humour and had a great personality and was a great set dancing teacher, always a perfect gentleman and had a great laugh there will never be another Timmy.
