I was in the same class as TJ in Our Lady's Secondary School in Belmullet. While most of us were fairly shy starting out he was oozing with confidence and so full of life. I bumped into him a few years later while he was working in Dublin and we had a great catch up as his paternal grandparents lived back the road from us in Annagh.

May TJ's soul rest in eternal peace with all those who have gone before him.

our paths crossed in Southend where he would have known me as Barney 'the Shrimper' (football reference).

I can only say he was a complete gentleman and I have very fond memories of TJ from his time in southern England where he was greatly respected.
