Never missing any of our family occasions. He always enjoyed being home. From the earlier memories visiting his parents to later days once retired where he was able to extend his stay enjoying his time on the local golf courses, or between Gurteen and Boyle, he always had a smile on face. I met TJ many times over the years in the course of my work,we always had a great chat about our lives in the UK and the people we knew over there esp (Tony). A wonderful friendly person to meet as I went about my work at Doon. My sympathy to Bridie and all the family. TJ RIP.

Deepest sympathies to Bridie and the extended Mc Donagh family on the sudden and unexpected death of your beloved TJ.It was with deep shock and sadness we learned of the death of our wonderful neighbour, TJ. Since we came to know him more the 25 years ago we always found TJ a most friendly, welcoming, chatty, informed and obliging neighbour .He loved visiting "The Curlews" with family members and busied himself keeping the property in pristine condition, meeting up with friends, relaxing outdoors in the sunshine and, especially, playing golf with Bridie.
We will greatly miss his friendly chats and his welcoming presence.
Please accept our heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. May the wonderful memories you have of TJ be a source of comfort during these difficult days.
