We are so saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Whitaker. His grandmother Margaret O' Shaughnessy was the sister of my great grandfather, Patrick O'Shaughnessy. My family and I were fortunate enough to visit with he and Nora in 1980. Through the years we kept in touch by writing mostly. He was a prince of a man. May he rest in peace.
