Tom always brought a smile to the face of anyone who met him. I have memories of passing him in the dome every week with his pint and his paper. He always said he was having the full student experience. My condolences to Tom's family. Such a kind gent.

I am so very sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. I met Tom during his time in WIT whilst I worked on the Students’ Union. He was a wonderful person and a great example of living life fully and completely.

So very sad to hear of Tom's passing today. It was a great pleasure to have him as a student in our University. I remember all our chats and his ease of communication with all generations. Fond memories of his 80th Birthday party in the student canteen.. He truly was an inspiration and a lovely man. I extend my deepest sympathies to his family. Rest easy Tom.
