Dearest Padraic and Dawn. Sincere sympathy to both of you on the passing of your father Tom. He was a kind gentleman and as you know, both he and your late mother Pearl were great friends of my late parents Eamonn and Kathleen. I remember the busy times of the 80's in The Rovers Return and The Goal Post bars. How times have changed. He is reunited again with Pearl which I hope gives you comfort. Unfortunately, I'm unable to express my sympathy in person. I will be thinking of you over the next few days. I'm sure there will be many great stories told as Tom was a character. Dad and him enjoyed many a good day at the races, even going to Aintree once. May he Rest in Peace.
