How heartbroken I am to hear about Tom Jr's passing. What does one say when no words can alleviate the sorrow and pain you’re feeling. It is such a tragic loss and I want to send you all my love and well wishes at this deeply saddening time.

Tom was a great student, an asset to the University and will be sorely missed. I looked forward to seeing him every week, bright, funny and enjoying his projects. Class today was a very sad place. Our thoughts are with you.

I was working with Tom on his US film school applications. I have helped support many students for college over the years and Tom immediately stood out. He was smart, talented, kind, hard working and just a pleasure to chat with. I really got to know him over the past year as he shared stories that eventually made way into essays. I truly believe he would have been accepted into some of the top US film schools and would have had a remarkable career. I enjoyed speaking with him and was honored to be a part of his process of self discovery through the applications. I know he will be missed by so many. He was truly a standout young man.

I got to know Tom over the past year as he started applying to film schools here in the States. I work in the industry and I thought at first it would be a one-off zoom, just giving advice and my perspective. But Tom was such a lovely kid and I was so struck by his focus and drive that it turned into multiple zooms. I read his scripts and watched his short films. He was so talented and really funny. I had no doubt he had what it took to be successful and I wrote a very enthusiastic letter of recommendation to the schools he was applying to. I'm so sorry for your loss. Tom was a really special young man.

I can’t imagine the inconsolable grief and shattering loss you are dealing with at this time.
The too short times I had met Tom always left me envious that I was not more like him when I was his age.

For what little time we spent with Tom, we've always remembered him and Dan very fondly. He was one of the most kind and genuine souls we have ever met. Never failed to put a smile on people's faces. Sharif very fondly remembers Tom complimenting his shoes one time.

Sincere condolences on the loss of Tom. I'll never forget his inquisitive nature , constant Irish references and love and reference to his family . He was a joy to teach. I met him a few years ago after he left Metropole on an Emirates flight back to Dubai and he shouted out from down the aisle Ms. Pam remember the craic in class. Forever in our thoughts Tom. I feel truely honoured to have been able to call Tom a friend, and although I only knew him for a few months my heart is shattered by his loss. His passion for films, football and food were contagious, as was his incredible sense of humour; when Tom entered a room we would all be laughing in seconds. Although my heart will be forever heavier, I can't help but smile when I think of him as every memory I have of him is filled with joy.

Words cannot express how sorry we are on the passing of Tom. Our heartfelt thoughts are with you all.

Tom was always so nice and kind towards me, I don’t have a single negative thing to say about him. He was kind enough to let me make a poster for one of him and Zaid’s films and I was so grateful, it was such a kind gesture and I won’t forget it anytime soon. He was genuinely so talented and had so much to give to the world in terms of creativity and ambition. He will be so greatly missed by so many people including myself. I only knew him for a couple months, but within that time I felt I had gained a friend. A kind and sweet person willing to give anyone the opportunity to be a part of his life. You don’t get to meet people like Tom often, so I am incredibly grateful to have met him. It is a truly heartbreaking loss. My condolences to his family, I can’t imagine how difficult this must be for you all.
