Sad to read of Tom's passing, have lovely memories of our days in AIB Bankcentre.
To the family of Tom, let me express my condolences over your loss. I only knew Tom briefly but found him to be a very kind and considerate man who lived a very adventurous life. I would like to add this:
RIP to my friend and second cousin Tom. Thank you for all your kindness and help over the last few years. I first met you in March of 2020 following the passing of my mother, Angela Henigan. You were waiting for me at the entrance to the church when I arrived for her memorial mass in Listowel.
From there, we would embark on an extensive search into our shared family history. Together with Cathal Hengan, we discovered generations of Henigan’s previously unknown to us. We drove together and found the places where they had lived and were buried: Listowel, Skehenerin, Trienearagh and Duagh. I will long value those experiences and the report we completed in September 2022. Let us hope you are now chatting with those many relatives, whose lives we had only been able to glimpse.
Rest in Peace Tom. Until we see each other again.
All our sympathy to Jennifer, John and all of Tom's family. The Cooneys are very special to us.
