My condolences to the Crehan family at this very sad time. I have many fond memories of Tommy, calling to Rockbarton where Gertie was always so welcoming. We certainly had plenty of craic. RIP

I am so sorry to hear that Tom has passed! He was my next door neighbour in Rockbarton Park. When Tommy was in his 20's he was one of the most bad ass dude in Galway, you would not want to mess with him! I was so glad to be his neighbour, became he really liked me. He did work in the salthill hotel sometimes. One year he was driving a tractor around my grandfather's farm out in Cregg Castle and my grandfather was on the back of the tractor on a hay trailer. Tommy started up the tractor a bit too fast and my grandfather's fell over! We he fucked and blinded Tommy out of it, lets just say he never drove that tractor again! I had a pint with Tommy one day about two years ago, and we were reminiscing about the good old days in Rockbarton park, out in Cregg Castle and the Salthill Hotel. I am going to miss you Tommy, would love to have one last pint with you again! RIP Tommy
