I only recently learned of Tom's passing. Tom cared for my grandfather near the end of his life. My grandad was very fond of Tom, much more than the other carers that called to the house. Rather than babysitting, Tom treated my grandfather as a friend and an equal. He is a fantastic man and I'm very sad to hear of his passing. I'm grateful for the care he gave my grandfather at a time when he needed it most. I'm very sorry for your loss.

I often went gallavanting with Tom as a child and teenager. I hope to keep in touch with Una and the other family members. I have MND and I am currently in hospital. i hope to see one or all of you soon. IF i get out of hospital my address will be:
