I want to extend my deepest sympathies to Rena, Peig, and their extended families on the passing of an absolute gentleman. I had the pleasure of playing hurling with Tom for some years with our beloved Magpies. Though we never won much , we enjoyed our times representing the black and white . Always a gentleman on and off the field, it was always a pleasure to meet and have a chat with Tom , and especially in recent years, when he carried his illness with such courage and dignity.
