I have so many happy childhood memories of uncle Tommy . As do my children and so many many children the country over . He will be missed.thinking of you all.

Condolences to David, Stephanie and the extended Duffy family. Tom and the Duffy family have been in our lives for many decades. We have a great bond with all the family and heartfelt sympathies as there will be a big void gone, including the entertainment world.
A larger than life character with an amazing sense of humour and a smile for everyone. Every child will remember the visits to the circus and the great entertainment that Tom provided and now the mantle passing to David and family. Rest in Peace Tommy and thank you for the friendship and memories.

Sincere sympathies to David, Stephanie, Tom, Jamie and all the crew at Tom Duffy's Circus. Tom was one of a kind, a true circus legend and a great ambassador for traditional circus. Tom has left an undeniable legacy and profound sense of professionalism in the irish circus industry that will never be extinguished or forgotten. Tom Duffy's Circus went from strength to strength over the years enriching so many childhood memories with their state of the art performers from all over the world and some of the best domestic and exotic animal content performances ever seen in Ireland under his direction. He enriched so many childhood memories for generations of Irish children, he truly had sawdust in his blood. In the latter years I always enjoyed my chats with Tom in his Director's chair in front of the grandstand where he monitored closely what was going on as his grandchildren Tom and Jamie perfected their bareback horse riding skills and the wheel of death. We have truly lost a circus legend, but his legacy is alive and well in the next generation of his family, whom I know will do him proud. May you bring the same happiness Tom in the next life as you brought in this one, and I hope you are enjoying being reunited with your beloved wife Gertie. Until we meet again, may all your days be circus days!

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Tom Duffy , I have great memories of dealing with Tom when they wintered in Dunmanway. Duffy’s purchased all their goods from Atkins & were great customers. In fact Tom’s parents were buried in Dunmanway.
