Haven't met Tom for some time but enjoyed meeting him for the banter at the matches however my longest memories of Tom go back to my childhood days in the 80's and gathering the fertiliser bags for Tom which he would collect during his coal delivery rounds.

So sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. From the first time Tom picked me up on the school bus, watching him on stage in the Barron hall and meeting him in the GAA Club and delivering coal for a few days he was always a pleasure to meet and a great character with a wonderful sense of humour.
