And how Claire and her mother were so alike! Of course, I am sorry also, that I could not make the funeral - though I was watching from a cabin in Patagonia.

It was with great sadness that we read of the untimely death of dear Tom. We knew Tom for so many years but lost touch for last 10 or so years. We always considered Tom to be a very sincere person, always easy to deal with in the bank and outside, met at many a race meeting and a thorough gentleman to boot.
