Sherril and I add our message on the sad passing of Tom. I had the privilege of working with Tom in the early days of the revival of Jameson when, initially, each of the founding firms had their own approach to growth. My best memories of Tom lay in his efforts to consolidate distribution in the UK from his base in the West End. He created momentum which spurred investment. The foundations for future big scale development.
Tom was the perfect ambassador. And Eileen his great support. To the family we send our deepest condolences

Deepest sympathy to all the family who were lucky enough to have Tom in your lives and with you for his life. He was a great colleague in Irish Distillers - he was held in the greatest respect by all in his area of Global Duty Free where he was an expert. He worked so hard, was a real Ambassador annually in Cannes at the Trade Fair, and was such great company.

It's hard to believe the "creaking door" has finally shut. We are glad we got to see Tom in Kerry again last year, albeit under sad circumstances, and not knowing it would be the last time. I met Tom in New York about 30 years ago. His keen mind, wry wit, and great kindness made Tom a uniquely wonderful person. I always greatly enjoyed spending time with him in the States and in Ireland. Very sad to learn of his passing. Sincerest condolences to his family.
