What a wonderful gentleman Tom was, we feel privileged to have known him as a dear friend and we are devastated that this lovely , kind, generous and brave man has been taken from you so soon. Deepest sympathy to Tommy's family on his sad and untimely passing. Tommy played his first soccer match in August 1981 with Banagher Town. We soldierered together and loved every minute of it.
Tommy will be missed by all his pals but especially by his family.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Tom . He was a great work colleague and I have lovely memories of him bringing samples up to the lab especially at night time when he would always have the chat and a bit of banter. Dear Tommy,
As teenagers we’d kick football all evening long in the haggard. Afterwards we’d sit in your living room eating Marietta’s we had bought in Peters shop and talk about hurling, soccer or the girls we fancied like there was no tomorrow. On Friday’s we’d go to the disco or to the pictures in Birr and if there was nothing else to do we’d walk around Lusmagh in the dark - pushing each other into ditches and thinking up hairbrained schemes to impress the girls. What fun we had - and you were at the center of it: “The Wizard” You were so witty and you were kind, gentle and generous. You were a lovely friend to have Tommy.
